Yampa Valley Airport (IATA: HDN, ICAO: KHDN, FAA LID: HDN), also known as Yampa Valley Regional Airport, is a public airport located east of Hayden and approximately 25 miles (40 km) west of Steamboat Springs in Routt County, Colorado, USA. The airport covers 671 acres (272 ha) and has one runway. It supports the only scheduled passenger services to Northwest Colorado and is also used for general aviation, particularly larger private aircraft unable to operate at Steamboat Springs Airport (Bob Adams Field).
The airport is owned and operated by Routt County.

The Airport recently finished Phase II of construction that expanded the terminal, apron and parking lots. It will cost close to $18 million to complete. It has 6 gates that can hold the Boeing 757, Boeing 737, Dash 8, Airbus A319, CRJ200 and the CRJ 700 that visit the airport. Like other Colorado airports, there are no jetbridges, just airstairs. The private ramp has the ability to hold up to 30 private jets. In the winter, large private jets, like the Boeing 737, can not stay parked, and must come in, drop off and then leave, because of limited space.
The airport has two ARFF trucks, located in the operations garage, that are run by full time and seasonal firefighters. They operate ARFF index C from December to March, and ARFF index B from April to November. The ARFF trucks are staffed by firefighters when a scheduled flight is arriving or departing with more than 10 passengers. Local Fire Departments, like The North Routt Fire Protection District and the West Routt Fire Protection District, can respond to the airport if mutual aid is needed. Transportation can be provided by local taxi companies and the public bus.
There is no Air Traffic Control Tower at the airport. All aircraft are on a CTAF (123.0) and/or Unicom. All aircraft receive approach control services from Denver Center. Gates and aircraft parking slots can be given on the airport operation channel. Jet A fuel is provided by the FBO, Galaxy Aviation. All aircraft departing runway 28 must make a right or left turn to avoid the populated areas of Hayden. An ILS approach is available for Runway 10. Heavy Snow and low ceilings during winter cause some aircraft to divert to other regional airports, and occasionally Denver International Airport.
All seasonal flights begin in December and end in April. Frontier Airlines operated by Lynx Aviation has decided to pull out of the 2009-2010 winter season. The only year-round service is to and from Denver International Airport. Mesa Airlines has flown to and from the airport from Denver in the past, but the airport wanted all jet service, operated by SkyWest, and wanted turbo-prop, Dash 8 service to end. American Airlines and Delta Air Lines have downgraded their service to Chicago O'Hare and Atlanta from a Boeing 757 to a Boeing 737
